• Installed Webtoffee GDPR Cookie Consent Plugin

  • Adds cookie consent banner to bottom of page for users in EU countries.
  • Adds "Cookie Preferences" link to bottom of page for users in EU countries (visible after dismissing cookie consent banner so that users can edit their preferences).
  • Uses plugin's built-in GeoIP functionality to target users in EU countries.
  • Blocks cookies until users opt-in (by clicking "Accept" or after saving their preferences in the cookie modal).
  • Cookie banner is not displayed to users that have cookies disabled in their browser.
  • The plugin's cookie scanner was run prior to site launch (05/20/2019) and all resulting cookies were categorized. This process will need to occur anytime new scripts are added to the website.

• Adds opt-in checkbox to forms that triggers data storage in the WordPress database.

  • This opt-in checkbox will need to be added to any new forms.
  • Crown's legal team needs to include data storage language in the updated Privacy Policy or data storage functionality needs to be removed from the website.
