QA SPECIALIST II
Job Summary:
The QA Specialist II is responsible for performing Quality compliance activities on the plant floor and ensuring that all activities are in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines and procedures. In addition, the QA Specialist II is also responsible for assisting in activities directly related to batch release, and batch record and procedure review, revision and approval. The QA Specialist II is required to consult with the Quality Management on all serious issues that may impact the company or product. Reports to QA Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Perform audits/checks of manufacturing, filling and packaging processes to include QA weight checks, line clearance activities, record review and signoff, cleaning verification label verification and reconciliation verification.
- Approve minor deviations on the operation floor.
- Review and approve executed batch records for completeness and accuracy for batch release.
- Review, revise and write batch records, procedures and policies in support of continuous Quality Improvement.
- Verify and ensure compliance with regulatory and company procedures and guidelines.
- Perform investigations as required.
- Assist in other quality related functions as requested, (sampling, component receipt and inspection, etc.)
- Additional tasks as assigned by Quality Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a scientific or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 2-5 years experience in the Pharmaceutical or regulated industry with prior experience in plant quality assurance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cGMPs, ICH and other regulatory requirements for the manufacture, testing and release of pharmaceutical products.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills as well as the ability to work independently.
- Occasionally lift 15-25 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Quality Control Laboratory Technician - Part Time
Job Summary:
Assist Quality Control Manager. Responsible for testing of raw materials and components, finished product and stability samples; preparation of standard and sample solutions; document lab results and calculations; prepare test reports; ensure lab equipment is maintained, while following cGMP procedures and corporate policies.
Requirements:
Associates degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry; 0-2 years Pharmaceutical or related industry experience; Versed in Microsoft Office Products; Good interpersonal, communications and organizational skills and ability to work independently.

sales territories throughout the United States. These are contract independent sales territories. Only those with
experience in selling direct to physicians and medical spas and that are willing to work on commission only will
be considered.

The qualified candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in outside sales, preferably in pharmaceutical,

Product Development Chemist
Key Responsibilities:
The individual will have a broad range of responsibilities within
our product development group. The successful candidate will be
responsible for the formulation of new cosmetic and personal care
products along with the development of OTC drug and ANDA formulations.
A thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical/consumer products
industry is a must.

Description
- Completes product development projects under the supervision
of VP of Manufacturing and Product Development.
- Develops new or improved formulas, products, and/or processes
under moderate supervision.
- Applies standard formulation technologies toward creation
of new products.
- Works with our suppliers to incorporate state of the art
technology into our product formulations.
- Obtains new raw materials as necessary, along with appropriate
safety/technical documentation, specifications, samples, etc.
- Conducts all required performance and stability tests.
- Performs evaluations of competitive products; reports findings
as appropriate.
- Develops pilot production and manufacturing procedures
in conjunction with the Process Development Group.
- Helps perform with the QC group, experimental, developmental and
analytical tests on raw materials and finished goods.
- Interfaces with other personnel; Manufacturing, QA and Marketing
as required.
- Resolves routine customer and production problems.
- Assists senior personnel as necessary.
Position Requirements:
- BS degree in Chemistry or Biology
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product formulation in the pharmaceutical and or consumer products industry.
Strong focus on semi-solids and liquids
- Knowledge of cGMP and FDA guidelines
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Strong work ethic
